I got a lecture from my 4-year-old after I took this shot. He told me that this was very dangerous and I shouldn’t do it again. He is wise beyond his years.
I am a sucker for jeans and t-shirt kind of look. If I can get away with wearing them every day, I will most definitely do that, however, pairing them together correctly can make all the difference in the world. As I had mentioned in some of my previous posts, here, here and here, you can easily dress up something so basic and turn it into something more dressy. Adding a nice pair of shoes, jewelry, sweater or jacket can really take your outfit up a notch.
The shirt I am wearing here is made up of very soft and comfortable material and is more of a loose fit. I paired it with a long cardigan, that I purchased on clearance…bonus. I also love a pair of nice black heels, they are timeless and very classic and will probably never go out of style. The ones I am wearing are by BCBGirls and I believe are discontinued. I have had them for a long time and they have stood the test of time very nicely. Sam Edelman makes great similar styles. The jeans are very unique. One of the newest trends that I have been seeing lately is the way they are cut on the bottom. The distressed look is back and not even that, a unique asymmetrical look at that. I really like how the back is longer than the front. The clutch is another oldie, but a goodie…I think I got it from Forever21 years ago. I just love how big it is as well as the gold stud detail on the front. I linked to a (somewhat) similar clutch above. These Chanel sunglasses are my favorite, but mainly because they are prescriptions and I hate to wear contacts…so, wearing them is a must for me. I wasn’t successful in finding these online mainly because they are sold out everywhere, but they are style number 5225-q in case you were wondering.
