Spring clothing is in full swing. Everywhere you look those heavy sweaters and coats are on clearance and all the flowy, light colored clothing is fully stocked. I came across this flowy tunic while doing some shopping and instantly fell in love with it. The fit around the arms is tight and stretchy while the rest of the top is flowy and comfortable. This tunic runs true to size. This is the perfect top to wear when you know you will be doing a lot of eating and don’t want people to see your “food baby”. You know what I mean, eh, eh? No, but seriously, it is very roomy and flattering at the same time.
When wearing shirts that are very loose, such as this one, it is best to pair them with tight fitting bottoms. This tunic would look great with skinny jeans, shorts, or even a form fitting skirt, otherwise, your outfit may come off looking a bit too frumpy, unless that’s the look you are going for =)
Another favorite style are the tunic dresses. A tunic is basically a loose garment. The length varies, but is usually no longer than to your knees. There are lots of different variations; some are shirts and some are long enough to call a dress. This tunic dress is super cute and would be perfect styled with a leather jacket (another option) or a bomber jacket.
Also, if you haven’t checked out my Spring Trends post, be sure to take a gander.
Cheers to the weekend! We are getting more snow again after 70-degree weather…shocker, right? Unless you check the weather and the forecast, you seriously don’t know how to dress for the day. Gotta love the Midwest. What is everyone up to this weekend?
