Spring is just around the corner and I cannot wait to pack my coat and boots away. As much as I get excited for colder weather, I am definitely more excited about the warmer weather. Today I decided to compile some spring trends for this upcoming season. There is a lot of versatility with style this spring and a lot of great ways to wear it.
Bomber jackets are a popular trend right now because they are lightweight but will still keep you warm during those chilly spring or summer days. I especially love this pink blush color. For more blush looks, check out my Pretty in Pink, post.
These Le Spec sunglasses are the perfect addition to any wardrobe and go with absolutely everything, that is what I really like about them. I own several pairs of aviators, but these add just that right amount of edge.
I love this Rebecca Minkoff bag because of how roomy it is. Dress it up or dress it down, it will still look great. The color adds that nice feminine touch…it’s the perfect everyday bag.
Mules (silver pair here) are the latest craze. I need to get my hands on a pair of these. Or should I say, get my feet on a pair of these…ha! How can you not love a pair of shoes that could almost pass as slippers? There are so many fabulous styles of this look – your options are endless.
I am really loving these gladiator heels for a more dressier look. Last year this similar style was really popular and this year it is still going strong. You can wear them with just your basic jeans and still look like you are dressed up. These shoes speak for themselves!
This slightly pink dress is a beauty. I think it’s flattering on any body type; tall, short, big or small. Wear it all day, but at night, throw on a cute leather or moto jacket for that finished touch.
Alright, the “no white after Labor Day” is long, long gone. Ladies, wearing white year round is A-ok! These white jeans are so chic and would look great paired with a tee, a nice blouse or a tunic. You can even throw on a pair of tennis shoes for more of casual and comfy look.
A bold lip can bring the entire look together. I don’t typically wear lipstick, but I do like to on certain occasions. This year’s trend has been more of a deeper and darker red. We will definitely see a lot more of it this season. Even though it’s a very pretty color, it is not one that you would wear all that often…in my opinion. It would be great for an evening out, but probably not much to your child’s soccer game, but who am I to tell you what to wear to your kids’ soccer games.
The lace bralette and a basic tee are one of my favorite looks for several reasons. The first is that it can make as big or as little of a statement as you would like. Pairing a black bralette with a white tee is definitely more dramatic than a white one, but if you don’t feel like living on the edge than white on white is a good option as well. The trend is letting the lace peek out from underneath your top.
What are some of your favorite trends for spring? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Happy weekend!
